Leadership change at CompuSoft
Reading time: < 2 minutes
After 38 years as a dedicated CEO in the software industry, Thomas Traberg-Larsen has decided to step down from his role as CEO. Going forward, he will continue to be actively involved as an owner. The leadership baton will be passed to Kim Wolters, who will assume the role of CEO at CompuSoft on 1 September 2025.
Thomas founded CompuSoft in 1987, and a few years later, his wife Lene Traberg-Larsen joined as Head of Sales and Marketing.Together with today’s exceptional team of 54 employees, they have developed CompuSoft into the leading full-service provider of booking and self-service solutions for campsites, holiday parks, sports centres, attractions, and marinas across Northern Europe.
In recent years, the company has experienced strong growth, driven by continuous innovation and a successful partnership with Valedo Partners. With the launch of our all-cloud booking concept, CompuSoft is now undergoing its third technological generational shift. We look forward to introducing new features in autumn 2025 that will once again elevate both the guest experience and operational efficiency.
A warm welcome to Kim Wolters
”CompuSoft has been a life journey for both Lene and me. Now the time has come to pass the baton and create space for the next chapter – both for ourselves and for CompuSoft. This is a natural development, and we are very pleased to welcome Kim Wolters as our new CEO. With his experience as CEO and COO in several IT companies – most recently EG, Digizuite, and KeyShot – he brings strong expertise to the role.”

"CompuSoft is a strong company with great potential, and I look forward to further developing our products and markets together with the many talented employees, and in close collaboration with both Thomas and Lene. Making it easy to deliver outstanding guest experiences will be the focus for me and the team, and I very much look forward to meeting customers and partners."

Both Lene and Thomas will remain actively involved as owners and will support the company during the transition period. Their three sons – Simon, Casper, and Lasse – will continue in their roles as the Product Management Team, ensuring strong and ongoing product development.
Thank you to our customers and partners
”We mark CompuSoft’s 38th anniversary with heartfelt thanks to all our customers and partners for the excellent cooperation over the years. Our passion for the industry remains strong, and we are confident that under Kim’s leadership and vision, CompuSoft will continue its exciting technological growth journey.”
