The booking system goes online
Shortly after the internet became widespread in the 1990s, CompuSoft's booking system became one of the first of its kind in the world to go online.

CompuSoft transitions into a limited liability company, strengthening its structure, leadership responsibility, and future growth potential.
Online booking for campsites is invented
The first generation of online booking for campsites is launched. Over 25 years later, the third generation remains a leader in conversion performance, uptime, and user-friendliness.
Launch of Windows-compatible booking platform
The booking system receives a comprehensive update to support the Windows operating system.
CompuSoft Private Cloud
Launch of CompuSoft's Private Cloud – a proprietary data center for hosting client applications and web services such as online booking and payment gateways.

Move to new headquarters
To accommodate the growing organization, the headquarters move to Sunekær 9 in Søndersø. At the same time, a new redundant data center is established to increase cybersecurity and capacity.
Launch of CompuSoft Channel Manager
First direct integration with Booking.com in Scandinavia. The system is continuously expanded with more channels and digital onboarding.
Second generation ticketing system is launched
Launched for online, back office, and kiosks – including features like payment subscriptions, event management, waiting lists, and modern auth integrations.
Online Booking V3 is launched
Launch of the third generation online booking with true embedding on customer websites, lightning-fast performance, and advanced price and availability control.
Launch of the cWallet guest app
Guest app with a true focus on the camping experience. Check-in, pay, open the barrier, share with friends and family. The most requested features by campers and campsites. Since then, the app has been expanded and upgraded with numerous features.
By 2025, it exceeds 500,000 users and supports the entire CompuSoft ecosystem with functions like self-service, upselling, integrations, and guest information.
Launch of second-generation web-based POS
The latest POS solution is directly accessible via CompuSoft’s web platform and works on all devices. A user-friendly layout designer makes it easy for anyone to quickly configure their POS with images, colors, and menus. The system also includes new features for dynamic discounts, ticket sales, packages, and more. It is expanded with a native F&B module (table reservation, takeaway, automated kitchen/bar communication) and integrates with coupon codes, the customer database, and all payment methods.
Installation of 50 kW solar power system
As part of CompuSoft's green transition, a 50 kW solar system is commissioned to power the CompuSoft private cloud hosting center, combined with a battery bank as a buffer.
Transition to microservice architecture
The booking system transitions to a microservice architecture, improving scalability, robustness, and performance – future-proofing the platform.
Establishment of own 25/50 kW wind turbine
Own wind turbine established – the data center becomes 100% powered by renewable energy, with backup from batteries and the grid.
Online booking facelift
Online booking receives a facelift with optimized conversion, design, and expanded module options (e.g. availability calendar).
Official Airbnb Partner
Direct integration with Airbnb is launched, and CompuSoft becomes an official Airbnb partner.

Complete relaunch of the web-based booking back office, based on nearly 40 years of experience. The most powerful, fast, and automated generation of the booking platform to date – created in close collaboration with CompuSoft’s customers and daily users.
